About Me
I was born in India, but was entirely raised in the Greater Toronto Region, in Canada. The Indian heritage, culture & colours were a big part of my childhood. My mother ran a large Indian Dance academy, and I grew up with the tradition, despite having an otherwise typical Canadian childhood and adulthood.
I graduated with a degree in Statistics, and have been working at a bank since. However, creativity has always been a very important constant in my life. I started drawing as a child, with a passion for portraits. I started painting in my early 20s, and lettering in my late 20s.
My creative pursuits are truly an extension of who I am. My paintings, in particular, are heavily influenced by my upbringing, with colours and textures are at its core.
