About Me
Indian heritage, culture, music, dance & colours were a big part of my life growing up - A stark juxtaposition to my otherwise Canadian childhood. While I studied statistics and pursued a career at the bank, I was constantly refining my creative skills including singing, dancing, painting and graphic design.
When I moved into my condo in 2020, I struggled to find art pieces that reflected both parts of my upbringing. What started as a pandemic project to decorate my home quickly evolved into a business. I realized that my niche style of combining traditional elements with a modern aesthetic resonated with many people. Since then I have sold original artwork and prints across 5 continents and 58 cities, leading to a feature on CBC Toronto.
My creative pursuits are truly an extension of who I am, and I am so grateful for everything Sri’s Arts became.

I was a Paint Nite Toronto instructor, where I taught acrylic painting at restaurants and bars
I am a certified Graphic Designer from George Brown College in Toronto
I am an Indian Classical singer (Carnatic Music), and my niche is singing for Indian Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam)
I am an Indian Classical dancer (Bharatanatyam) and continue to participate in productions and YouTube videos for Sri Sanskriti Dance Academy
